Stats VolleyCountry: built for youth volleyball
The app puts your own team and its performance at the centre. Coaches get a live view during the match, parents see more than the score, and players receive personal reports.

Stats VolleyCountry is being built for an environment we know well: youth volleyball, where teams learn throughout the season, players develop and coaches need to understand what is actually happening on court. The goal is not to collect numbers for their own sake. We want to capture the match in a way that helps coaches, players and the people watching.
Our own team comes first
During a match, we record the actions of our team and their outcomes. Afterward, we can review serving, reception, setting, attacking, defense and blocking alongside the rallies and score. It is not only about who scored how many points. We also want to understand how each point was created, which situations keep repeating and how performance changes during the match.
For the opponent, we record points and where they came from. The main focus stays on our own performance: what we did well, where we made things easier for the other team and what we can improve next time. That connection between match records and learning matters especially in youth volleyball.
Outputs that reveal more than the obvious
Alongside familiar summaries, we are developing views that help coaches ask better questions. One example is pressure from serving. An ace is easy to spot, but a strong serve can matter without scoring directly: it disrupts reception, limits the opponent's attack options and creates a better chance for our defense or counterattack.
Looking at the full chain of actions helps distinguish a serve that simply put the ball in play from one that truly changed the rally. The same way of thinking can apply to other skills. An unconventional output is useful only when it leads to a clear question for practice or match tactics.
Coaches need information during the match
After the match, it may already be too late to change something. Coaches can therefore follow a live view on their phone: the score, match events, errors, skill success and recent actions. They do not have to wait for someone to total the tables afterward. Between sets, they can check their impression and make decisions based on what the team is doing right now.
A live view should not distract a coach from the game or replace experience. It makes useful information available sooner and helps the coach focus attention on what matters.
For parents and fans, a match is more than a live score
A basic live score answers how many points each team has and who is ahead. We also want parents and fans to see how the match is unfolding: where points come from, which actions are deciding the game and how individual players are doing. That makes the match easier to follow, even for people who are not next to the bench or familiar with every tactical detail.
A personal report for every player
One of the key outputs is a personalized report sent to each player by email shortly after the match. Players can revisit their performance, see the recorded actions and better understand what went well and what they can keep working on. The information does not stay only in a club spreadsheet or on the coach's computer.
Selected results can also be shared on social media. A player can show their performance, a club can share an interesting match moment and parents get a more meaningful view of the game. Statistics become part of team communication and motivation, not just a file of numbers after the final whistle.
For clubs that want to use match records regularly
Stats VolleyCountry connects live recording, a coach's match view, information for spectators and personal player reports. It is designed to help a club follow its own team across matches and return to performance throughout the season.
